Do you YouTube, Facebook, MySpace or Twitter?

These would have seemed strange just 5 years ago, but now they are everyday words in the average household. Just when we thought MySpace was taking over the world Facebook now seems to be out front. Average people are becoming cyberspace celebrities out of their own home. Where else could you post How to Spy on People and 4 days later receive 119,490 views?

Are you covering up or uncovering this year for Valentine’s Day?

I tried on swim suits the other day, don’t know who’s dumb idea that was, but what I discovered was that the cover up fit the best.  Guess I will add that to my colorful collection of cover-ups from years past.

This poses a dilemma this Valentine’s Day, if I don’t think I look good in a swim suit how can I look good in something less?  I think we should just move Valentine’s Day to when it is a little warmer, but since I am sure all of the Saint Valentines wouldn’t like that there must be another solution.

Here are 3 quick fixes we have found:

  1.  bliss fatgirlslim – a lean, mean skin firming cream that visibly diminishes dimples
    •energizes the skin
•stimulates skin surface to firm and contour with caffeine
•visibly reduces the appearance of excess fluid retention in skin layers
  2. Tan Towlettes, Fake Bake or good ‘ole airbrushing, check out your local directory for a spray tanning booth near you.
  3. Warm weather is a more conducive to a little less clothing, if you know what I mean, so crank up the heat until you want to get the ice cubes out!

Something Sweet For Your Man From Tyra Banks

Py Kim’s Fortune Cookie Recipe

INGREDIENTS

3 egg whites
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons water

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets, or line with parchment paper. Have fortunes ready to go on small strips of paper.
2. In a large glass or metal bowl, whip egg whites and sugar on high speed of an electric mixer until frothy, about two minutes. Reduce speed to low, and stir in melted butter, vanilla, almond extract, water and flour one at a time, mixing well after each. Consistency should resemble pancake batter. Spoon the batter into two-inch circles on the prepared baking sheets. Leave room between for spreading.
3. Bake for five to seven minutes in the preheated oven, or until the edges begin to brown slightly. Quickly remove one at a time, place a message in the center, and fold in half. Fold the ends of the half together into a horse shoe shape. If they spring open, place them in a muffin tin to cool until set.

Remember to bake them long enough so they are golden around the edges, or they will be under-baked and remain soft, spongy and pancake-like. And no one wants the cookies o’ love to fall flat! Happy baking!

The Big Give from Arizona Spa Girls

azspagirls_eblast

Here is an excerpt from “AZSpaGirls eBlast: Big Give” Issue that I think you will enjoy:

On a final note, our philosophy is that a spa girl is more than just the sum of her rockin’ haircut, perfect pout and peaceful grace. A true spa girl’s beauty shines from an inner core draped in kindness, reverence and knowing not to take yourself too seriously. We endearingly refer to this glow as your “inner bee.”

So once you’ve found a chance to relax and renew this holiday season (as you should!), click here for our list of ways to feed your inner bee and get that shiny, pretty glow that comes from the heart.

And here’s to a happy and healthy 2009!
