Blog on Snogging

by Tami Chase

I learned a new word today, however I don’t think I will ever find myself saying it, only when said with a British accent can the word snog or snogging be pulled off.  Now I know you are asking yourself what is snogging?  Well my friends it has nothing to do with clogging in the snow, or snorting while drinking eggnog simply put it is passionate kissing.  So the next time you are among brits and they are trying to conceal the true meaning in a converstation, you will have a proverbial leg up on them.

If you want to partake in some snogging, don’t forget to bring along your Snog Balm.  Although it sounds like something you would use on your nose, with flavors like Strawberry Tease, Cheeky Mint, Naked and Virgin Cherry you can tell it is meant for your lips and his.

Now that I have your attention there is yet another way to Snog…with Pure Frozen Yogurt, of course you have to go London, but hey it might be worth the trip!

Have you done your snogging today?

What’s in Your Boudoir?

by Tami Chase

While me may not equate a boudoir with the stylings of the Louis the XVI period pictured above, we do each have our own individual style and products we like to keep stocked in it.  Historically, the boudoir formed part of the private suite of rooms of a lady, for bathing and dressing, adjacent to her bedchamber, being the female equivalent of the male cabinet

For me, no matter how elaborateluxury-bath1 or not, my boudoir must contain some luxurious lotions to keep my skin hydrated like Lollia’s Grenadine and Tonic Shea Butter Handcreme, a plush robe and slippers for me to lounge around in while I get ready, fabulous brushes and mirrors by Ziba Beauty and last but not least my SweetSpot Labs balancing mist in citrus galbanum.

No matter what your taste or style it is sure to make your time more luxurious surrounded by the things you love.

What’s in your boudoir?

Move Over Pads here come Muffies!

Just when you thought everything had been made that could be sewn, Muffies come along.  Pre-washed and pre-shrunk these reusable(?) pads will make you feel like you are wearing cloth diapers again.  Now I mean no disrespect but I am just not the cloth diaper kind of a person, although, I was raised on them.  However, I would be willing to try out this hand crafted marvel.  Problem is, they don’t give you any cleaning tips!?  Gonna say you may want to keep a bottle of hydrogen peroxide handy, also black might be a good color to make.  Another idea is building it in to a pair of underwear, because I can’t imagine the snap in jeans.  I am going to give her 2 thumbs up for her ingenuity and helping the planet, because disposing of the disposables is never a pretty thing.

That’s the Life

by Tami Chase

When money is a little tight what do you cut back on? There are some things I just can’t do without, SweetSpot Labs® gentle wash is one of those things.  Then there are the things that are nice to have, but sort of luxury like my newly found obsession for Lollia Life products.  Now I must admit, I haven’t tried them, but I am in love with their line.  With names like Breathe and Inspire and delicate floral wrapped packaging, I’m sold!  Of course buying the products will have to wait until money’s not so tight, but santa if your listening…I’ve been good.

Potpourri for your Loo

Who’d of thought to spray something in the bathroom before you use it!?  Well, Sergio Batiz, a surgical assistant by trade, with his sister-in-law Suzy Batiz did.  Poo-Pourri (not kidding that is the actually name) is made with a secret blend of all-natural essential oils, just a few sprays in the bowl before using the toilet virtually eliminates odors.

Now I must say I have not tried it yet, however, I was recently given a sample and will have to give it a whirl.  I have heard from other people that it really works, so I bet it probably does!  I am not big on leaving that kind of thing out, but the little portable bottles I saw were really cute.

I’ve actually used the SweetSpot Labs balancing mist for the air and I think it works great.  It leaves the room smelling fresh without covering anything up.  Of course, that is not what it is for, but hey if I can get more than one use out of it the better.

We’ve got your front, they’ve got your back.
